Wes Enicks named Executive Director of Generations Incorporated

Generations Incorporated is pleased to announce that Wes Enicks has been named the new Executive Director of the organization, effective October 25, 2017. Enicks succeeds Mary Gunn, who retired on June 30, 2017, after fifteen years leading the organization's growth. Enicks brings a wealth of experience in the nonprofit sector, has a passion for fostering intergenerational mentorship, and over thirteen years of experience in development, marketing, management, and sales. With the support of the Barr Foundation, the Board of Director engaged Third Sector New England to guide the organization through the leadership transition. We look forward to continuing to work to bring young children the gift of literacy through strong and meaningful intergenerational mentorship under Wes Enicks' leadership.

Generations Incorporated

We envision a day when all children are proficient readers when they enter 4th Grade. Literacy is the key to academic success and can be a path out of poverty.

Generations Incorporated strives to improve the literacy skills of young children through Grade 3. We also provide meaningful opportunities to older adults who serve as literacy volunteers in our partner schools and after school programs in low-income communities.
