The Literations Ambassadors Board is a community of mid-career professionals who care about literacy and want to help close the gap.

The group supports Literations' mission to provide one-on-one literacy support to elementary-age students in under-resourced communities.

Ambassadors do this by creating opportunities to network, fundraise, and advocate on behalf of youth literacy.

As an Ambassador, you'll:

  • Attend four meetings a year (two in-person events, two virtual check-ins)

  • Contribute through at least one track: hosting an event, inviting your network, making a personal gift, securing an in-kind donation, connecting us to donors and volunteers, or sponsoring a corporate volunteer day

  • Join 2-3 community gatherings a year, from casual kickoffs to friendly fundraising competitions

  • Help build awareness of the youth literacy crisis in your own personal and professional networks

  • Be part of a real pipeline of support for kids who need it most

Nearly 70% of fourth graders throughout Massachusetts are not reading at grade level.

Gaps in early literacy create obstacles in the path of learning that affect children for years to come.

Literations is meeting the critical need for early literacy support in Greater Boston, MetroWest, and Chelsea, reaching the communities that need help the most.
