Announcement of temporary suspension of programs due to COVID-19

Generations Incorporated has been closely monitoring the news about the rapidly changing public health situation in Massachusetts and Greater Boston as well as the recommendations by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MA DPH) regarding COVID-19.

Out of an abundance of caution, Generations Incorporated will be temporarily suspending our program beginning Wednesday, March 11th through Friday, March 27th.

We envision a day when all children are proficient readers when they enter 4th Grade. Literacy is the key to academic success and can be a path out of poverty.

Generations Incorporated strives to improve the literacy skills of young children through Grade 3. We also provide meaningful opportunities to older adults who serve as literacy volunteers in our partner schools and after school programs in low-income communities.
