Amy Danforth joins Generations Incorporated’s Board of Directors

Generations Incorporated is pleased to announce the appointment of Amy Danforth to its thirteen-member Board of Directors. Ms. Danforth is Executive Vice President at Fidelity Investments, where she has served in various leadership roles for 20 years. She is a long-time advocate for Generations Incorporated’s mission to improve the literacy skills of young children through Grade 3 by engaging professionally trained older adult volunteers as literacy coaches at partner schools and after-school programs. Ms. Danforth has provided important insight and support to the growing organization since 2005, and joins the Board of Directors at a pivotal moment of strategic planning and growth.

Generations Incorporated strives to improve the literacy skills of young children through Grade 3. We also provide meaningful opportunities to older adults who serve as literacy volunteers in our partner schools and after school programs in low-income communities.
