In 2018, we celebrated many successes in our mission to ensure that students have the resources they need to become literacy proficient by the fourth grade. With additional specialized support during school and out of school hours, struggling early readers we serve are accelerating their literacy growth toward proficiency thanks to the support of dedicated volunteers from our community. Literations
Literations pairs highly-trained volunteer literacy coaches (aged 50+) with 1st-4th graders to deliver evidence-based, one-to-one literacy interventions. Our students significantly improve their reading and social-emotional skills.
